Sold by McLoughlin Bros., New York. This gyrating shadow toy was panted on October 18,1875. Cutout shadow figures are viewed as moving shadows on the four panels that make up the outside of the lantern. Lit candles provide heat that turn the metal frame that the shadow figures are affixed to.
