A collection of nine unboxed thaumatropes. Two of the discs are signed M.J. Broad and dated 1828. It is not clear whether Broad was the owner of the discs and/or the artist. There is a boxed set dated 1840 in the Bill Douglas Collection at Exeter University with what appears to be the same discs. That set has twelve discs.
